I sat bolt upright in bed, awakened from a deep sleep by the intensity of my dream.
    I had been flying a small plane over the Atlantic Ocean. The engine was roaring rhythmically as I sailed through the smooth, buoyant air. A brilliant sun was reflecting back up to me as tens of thousands of bright wavelets from the surface below. Land was completely out of sight. My world was a vast ocean spreading beneath me to the horizon in every direction under a canopy of blue. The sky was absolutely clear. My heart was pounding with the exhilaration of danger and excitement.
    And that's when I woke up.
    I tried to clear the cobwebs from my head. The dream was so vivid, so exciting. I couldn't get it out of my mind. I had but one thought.
    That's what I've got to do! I'm going to fly around the world!
    That one dream over twenty-five years ago planted a seed in my mind so deeply that there was no ignoring it. And it has grown, very slowly but steadily ever since.
